Redesign of Kreuzplatz Square

Kreuzplatz in Biel is an important traffic junction featuring a historic public transport waiting shelter from the 1930s. Following an extensive dialogue process including surveys, an open living room event and workshops, the preliminary project will be developed until 2027. In 2026, the population is invited to help shape the concrete design of the square around the shelter. Construction is expected to begin in 2028.
