Support for community life in the neighbourhoods

Through their events, meeting points and neighbourhood projects, Biel's neighbourhood associations make an indispensable contribution to social cohesion in the city's various districts. However, many of these associations rely on volunteer work and quickly reach their financial limits when it comes to funding materials, venue rental or larger events.

We call on the City of Biel to increase funding for local neighbourhood associations, so they can continue their important work for a vibrant and connected city life in the future.
